Professional Apprenticeship for Consulting Excellence (PACE) Program

Developing the next generation of consulting leaders

Apprenticeships for Transitioning Professionals

The Professional Apprenticeship for Consulting Excellence (PACE) Program is a 25-week program designed to accelerate the career development of transitioning professionals by providing on-the-job and classroom training. Apprentices gain paid, client delivery experience working on project teams while acquiring the competencies and skills needed to make a meaningful impact on the U.S. Federal Government.

Through the PACE Program, M Powered Strategies recruits talented transitioning professionals for short-term contract work with our partner clients. Candidates are rigorously screened in a multi-step process that includes the evaluation of writing skills and teamwork, as well as group and one-on-one interviews. Upon completion of the program, the graduate apprentice can be hired on a permanent basis.

Maximizing the professionalism of the current workforce

The PACE Program is also available as a professional development package for junior members of our partner client organizations. As PACE apprentices, they receive the comprehensive training and coaching as well as the diagnostics and feedback that are offered to all the participants in the program.

“Our PACE apprentice takes a lot of initiative, going well beyond his job description.  He has made himself a valuable member of our team and his hard work does not go unnoticed.”  –PACE Partner 2013
